“God’s promise came true, just as the prophet Isaiah had said, “He healed our diseases and made us well.”

God’s weapons to pull down strongholds in people’s minds are: Jesus’ name, his blood and his Word.

“These weapons can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding him. With these weapons I can capture rebels and bring them back to God, and change them into men whose heart’s desire is obedience to Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:5 TLB

Father, your Word says that you want everyone to turn from their sins.

I thank you that I can use your mighty weapons to destroy everything that would try to stop (name individuals) from seeing your truth.

I take these mighty weapons now and declare that your Word says, (insert their names) have been purchased through your blood.

In Jesus’ name, I destroy every reasoning, belief system, negative thought and attitude, including every bit of pride that is stopping (their names) from knowing you.

Thank you Jesus for replacing every deceptive thought with your truth and for leading them to yourself.

2 Corinthians 4:4, 2 Peter 3:9, Revelation 5:9, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Here is an additional special promise you can claim if you are praying for your children.

“I will fight your enemies, and will save your children.”

Isaiah 49:25b

God, you have promised in your Word to fight for me and save my children. I claim this promise for my children today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer for Forgiving

“When you are praying, if you are angry with someone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins.”

Mark 11.25

Heavenly Father, you are kind and forgiving, and you always love me. Help me to love others with the same love that you have shown me.

I take responsibility for disobeying you by holding a grudge and not forgiving others as you have forgiven me. Please forgive me.

Help me to obey you by forgiving those who have hurt me. I choose now to forgive the wrong and hurt that has been done to me. I forgive (name individuals, including yourself if necessary) for (list the things they did to you) and I no longer blame them for doing this to me. Release me from any resentment, bitterness, anger or hate I have held inside.

Father, as you have promised in your Word, please heal my wounded heart. I choose now to show mercy to those who have offended me and ask that you will bless (name individuals) in all that they do.

“May your Kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

Matthew 6:10

Lord Jesus, may your will be done in every area of my life.

Cause me to HEAR your voice today for your Word says, “My sheep hear my voice, and they follow me.”

Open my EYES that I may clearly see wonderful things in your Word.

Set a guard over my MOUTH O Lord, and keep a watch over the door of my lips.

Whatever my HANDS find to do, help me to do it with all my might.

Help me obey your Word, for it says to love you with all my HEART. I love you Jesus and desire to follow your principles in my life today.

Prayer for your Church or Missionary

Prayers Return Home No Comments

I pray dear Heavenly Father, that (your Pastor or Missionary) will sense your presence and be given wisdom, understanding and discernment today.

Strengthen him/her by your great power that he/she will be encouraged and keep going what ever happens – always full of your joy.

I give thanks to you dear Father for (your Pastor, their spouse and children). Hedge them from every attack of the enemy. I claim that everything they set their hands to do shall prosper and that they be kept in health.

Colossians 1:9-11, 3 John 2, Psalms 1:3

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that according to your Word you have promised to cover us with your feathers and under your wings we will find refuge. I pray that you will be a refuge and fortress to our fellowship, and deliver us from every attack of the evil one.

Psalms 91:4

I pray that our church will be rooted and established in love. Help us to fully understand how wide and long and high and deep is your love. I ask, Lord Jesus, that we may express your love and become a fellowship completely filled and flooded with yourself.

Ephesians 3:17-20

In your Word, Lord Jesus, you ask that we worship you in spirit and in truth. Craft our worship by your Spirit, I pray, so that it is an expression and an experience that will glorify you. I understand that when we worship you in truth, our words should reflect our lifestyle. Please forgive us for the times we have failed to do this and lead us, I pray, in truthfulness.

John 4:24

Father, you ask us to be imitators of you and to walk in your love, with humility, gentleness and patience, making allowance for each other. Oh Lord, may it be everyone’s desire in ourchurch to be more like you, and to put to death the works of the flesh. I bind the enemy that would seek to plant seeds of envy, strife and division in our fellowship and I release love and unity, for your Word shows us that where there is unity you command the blessing.

Psalms 133:3, Ephesians 4:1, Matthew 18:18

You have said in Malachi 3:10 to test you with our giving, so that the promise of your abundance will become ours. Release, dear Father, into our fellowship cheerful givers, that we may know of your blessings and spread your Word throughout the world.

2 Corinthians 9:7, 2 Corinthians 9:8

Father, be merciful and gracious to us and bless us. Cause your face to shine upon us and among us that your ways may be known throughout the earth. Give all within our church a passion to share your saving power, bringing deliverance and salvation to those who do not know you both here and among the nations.

Psalm 67:1-2, Matthew 9:38, Matthew 28:18-20
